Frank
Frank has been a mechanic his entire adult life. What started as a passion for figuring out how things work became a career, and what became a career became a community institution on Oakdale Ave.
At A & C Auto Clinic, you deal with Frank directly. No service advisors, no front desk middleman, no runaround. He listens to your car, takes it for a drive if he needs to, and tells you exactly what is going on.
He is old-school in the best way. Frank diagnoses problems by sound and feel, drawing on 30+ years as a San Francisco mechanic before he ever reaches for a scan tool. When he recommends a repair, it is because you actually need it.
Minh on the bays
Working alongside Frank is Minh, an experienced mechanic with years of hands-on work behind him. Different hands, same standard: figure out what is actually wrong, fix it right, charge fair.
Between Frank and Minh, almost every problem you can throw at a car gets handled in-house. The few jobs we send out are the ones where a specialist tool genuinely makes the work safer or cheaper, and we will always tell you that up front before you authorize anything.
